Both the Bostonian and Lexington models are ideal for applications where an aluminum door with full window capabilities is required. These doors each offer superb welded joint craftsmanship and provide an unmatched aesthetic beauty.

Some suggested uses for these doors are fire stations, gas stations, store fronts, car washes, greenhouses, malls and restaurants, to name a few.
 
Door Features
  • Specifications: New England Door’s Lexington Heavy Duty Model Doors - aluminum sectional upward acting doors - embody the following particulars:
    • Maximum Size Limits: 24’2" wide, 18’0" high.
    • Rails and Stiles: To be joined by heli-arc welds in unexposed locations. Rails and stiles to be extruded from 6063-T6 alloy. Door thickness 1 3/4". Bottom rail - 4 1/2". Meeting rails - 3 3/8". Top rail - 2 3/4" up to 16’2" wide, 4 1/2" over 16’2" wide. End stiles - 3 3/8". Center stiles - 3 1/2".
    • Finish: Anodized per Aluminum Specification A-21. Stock colors: clear anodized, dark bronze and baked on white.
    • Panels: 051 Anodized aluminum sheet.
    • Glass: DS 1/8" window glass set in continuous vinyl channel and held in place with a rigid plastic snap in bead. Polycarbonate Glass also available.
    • Bottom Weather Seal: Cold weather vinyl astragal.
    • Track: Galvanized 2" or 3" track as required by door size, vertical track-bracket or angle mounted, horizontal track angle mounted. Also available as a High Lift or Vertical Lift.
    • Hardware: Stamped 14 gauge galvanized steel.
    • Rollers: Heavy duty industrial 11 ball nylon Quiet Glide rollers.
    • Counter Balance: Torsion springs, cast aluminum drums, aircraft cable.
    • Locking Device: Interior slide bolt.
    • Reinforcing: Steel U-bar struts on doors over 14’3" wide.
    • Wind Load: All doors constructed to meet or exceed standards established under National Association of Door Manufacturers’ specification 102-1988
